about

I could not resist arranging the ending of this Bethlehem tune as a finale to the Agrippa musical/occult exploration. It’s beauty is in its simplicity, and clearly these German Dark Metal guys have a lot of experience composing amazing melodies that somehow unite despair, hope, death, and peace. The original lyrics explore dark themes involving the black serpent, Aphel, along with an icy grave exiled by the light, the nocturnal cry of the doomed angel, a shrine made of bone, animalistic duality, and the source of dark power.
